Music Production I/II
Music Production I is a semester long course that will help students explore the fundamentals of music production, sound systems and their components, music recording, sample compositions, and the music industry. Students will also explore the inner workings of the music industry from a historical and cultural perspective and extend their musical awareness beyond music they are currently familiar with including music in advertising, radio, films and television. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to set-up and run live sound, record music in a studio setting, and produce brief audio works.
Music Production II is a semester long course that is a continuation of Music Production I. Students will focus on advanced production techniques and audio engineering.
Students are encouraged to take both Music Production I and II to get the full Music Production Experience!
