About the Grayslake Music Department:

The main emphasis for the Grayslake Central music department is the development of total musicianship through the study, preparation and performance of quality music and an authentic understanding of the language of music through a sequential curriculum.

Members of our music RAMily extend their musical activities through participation in extra curricular activities such as Jazz Band and Jazz Choirs, Drum Line, Color Guard, participation in the Pit Orchestra or as a cast member for the annual Musical, the D127 Solo and Ensemble Festival, Private Lessons, Competitive Auditions, and community ensembles.
